About the AssignmentWe are looking for a Function Developer to strengthen a cross-functional team working with active chassis and suspension functions in the automotive industry. The team develops across the full software stack—from control algorithms and embedded implementation to toolchains and verification—aiming to deliver high-performing, robust vehicle functions.
You will be part of an in-house software team developing suspension functions in both the Suspension ECU and the vehicle’s Central ECU, collaborating closely with developers, testers, system and safety engineers, and architects.
Job Description- Develop embedded software and control algorithms for active suspension/chassis functions
- Plan and execute verification activities in MIL, SIL, HIL and in complete vehicles
- Collaborate with other teams to define software requirements and test specifications
- Create and maintain test cases and test reports
- Work in an agile setup and contribute where needed in cross-functional deliveries
- BSc degree or higher in Software Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of software development experience
- Experience with embedded systems development
- Experience from the automotive industry
- Experience in MIL testing
- Experience with SIL and HIL testing
- Experience with Matlab and Simulink
- Experience with AUTOSAR
- Experience with Vector tools (CANoe, CANape)
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 implementation
- Experience with version control (Git)
- Knowledge of control theory and/or signal processing
- Valid Swedish B driver’s license
- Knowledge in vehicle dynamics
- Experience with Simulink Test
- Experience with requirement management tools (e.g., CarWeaver/SystemWeaver)
- Knowledge of rapid prototyping tools (e.g., dSpace Autobox)
- Knowledge of diagnostics (UDS, ISO 14229)
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet)
- Knowledge of low-level protocol/firmware development (SPI, UART, PWM, DIO, PSI5)
- Programming knowledge in C, C++, and/or Python
